Anthony 'Huggy' Rhoden (Phoenix High School)

HUGGY is a community sports leader who has taken his teams to the top of borough and London leagues. He has also had many personal successes playing for Middlesex Basketball League.
Huggy says:
'I enjoy working with young people and delivering fun, engaging sessions. I see myself as a role model, helping to teach social and life skills through the tool of basketball. I have seen players grow up and become leaders.
'Basketball can help them in all aspects of life and how they see themselves. They must be good at school to play for the team…'
