Bedales' Dance Residential

The Bedales Dance Residential in Dunhurst proved to be an amazing experience for the kids in the new Greenhouse Youth Dance Company. In addition to learning new dance styles, skills and techniques they united as a group through various bonding exercises including cooking together and participating in the evening entertainment activities.

Lauren, a new member of the dance company made the following comments about her experience...
'My name is Lauren, I am 12 years old and I attend Deptford Green School. I was so happy to be selected for the Greenhouse elite dance group and I'm glad I had the chance to go on the dance residential, it was an amazing experience where I made new friends. I also tried and learned some new dance styles, some were hard work and some were good fun. We cooked for each other and did nice activities in the evenings, I loved the night walk and hot chocolate and marshmallows around the bonfire. I know that I'm very lucky to have had this experience and I'm very grateful and thankful to all the staff at Greenhouse who worked with us. I'll never forget it and look forward to performing as a group.'
