Performing Arts Summer Camp 2010

For this year’s Performing Arts programme Greenhouse once again joined forces with Mousetrap Theatre Projects to create an exciting, dynamic 3-week dance and drama camp.
Over 68 participants got to attend theatre trips such as ‘Tap Dogs’ starring Adam Garcia and ‘Wicked’ created by Stephen Schwartz. In addition participants attended masterclass workshops in Circus Skills and Stage Management.
The 3-week programme ended in a 1hr 30min performance, where participants showcased their work to friends, family, Greenhouse supporters and of course the Greenhouse office staff! The performance was a mixture of street, narrative and contemporary dance, with segments from Michael Jackson's iconic numbers as well as classic ones and adaptations of Romeo and Juliet and West Side Story ... a truly varied and fun event, the showcase was aptly titled ‘Pic n Mix’.
