Greenhouse Youth Theatre
In the heart of White City Estate, the Greenhouse Theatre Company offers young people the opportunity to develop their confidence, self-expression and communication through drama.

The aim of the Greenhouse White City Youth Theatre is to provide young people with access to drama and theatre practice, and enable them to make theatre within their community. The project connects young people (who would not normally have any access to the dramatic arts) to contemporary theatre encouraging them to value it, be part of it and enrich them in the process. The drama group also provides a place for them to come and make friends while working together in a creative way.
As well as taking on scripted plays, our members are also encouraged to devise their own pieces with the assistance of highly trained and experienced drama practitioners.

We also work with other theatre professionals so that our participants can gain affordable (if not free) access to theatre trips and master classes that would otherwise be inaccessible to them. Most recently GWCTC collaborated with the Bush theatre during the february half term. This was a writing and performance workshop, based on the arguments and ideas in Malorie Blackman's Noughts and Crosses.
