Actors go to the West End stage

Tuesday 07 July 2009

Young people from Greenhouse saw the award-winning show Spring Awakening – twice!

They watched the tale of teenage awakening – described as "the best new musical since Billy Elliot" – at the Lyric Hammersmith and after its move to London's West End. The group worked on the script during their weekly sessions and did their own version of the show.

Actors also got the chance to see hit musical comedy Sister Act. The young people were allowed backstage, into the performers' dressing rooms and onto the stage itself!
