Under 10s B

Manager DIGNESH PATEL and assistant manager MOHAMMED OMAR have built a team of winners with ethics.

Dignesh says:

'It's been a tough year taking this set of youngsters through the first stages of their football experiences and it has come with many ups and downs. I started with the U10 B squad four games into the season. They were playing OK but there were a lot of issues within the team dynamic that were not productive, such as ill discipline, poor respect, attitude and behaviour. We had our ups and downs but, finally starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel, we developed a mutual respect for each other, improved discipline and attitude and we are starting to see that on the pitch.

'Mohammad and I are trying to build a team of not just winners but winners with ethics, values and greater self-confidence. Throughout the team we are definitely seeing progress but we are more than aware that there’s still work to be done. I believe that from the moment myself and Muhammad took over we have seen a vast improvement from a number of individuals but everyone as a whole has improved in some way to develop a successful dynamic.'

Mohammed says:

'We have seen everyone shine at some point in the season from wonder goals to excellent defensive performances and it’s been a pleasure to watch this set of individuals reproduce some of the actions in games after practising them on the training ground. I would like to thank the team for their changed attitude and the effort they have given me throughout the season and I hope to take them into the next season with a renewed confidence and a hunger to be winners. I would not want to work with any other group so thank you Bethwin and the U10s B. Enjoy the off-season because a lot of hard work lies ahead.'
