Karima bags an award
Friday 18 November 2011
Karima, Deputy Programme Manager at the Bethwin football club in Southwark South London was crowned 'Welfare Officer of the year' by the London Football Association.
The ceremony was held at the Players Lounge at Stamford Bridge. The award was presented by Sue Cairney, the County Welfare Officer and is the first of its kind to have ever been given out. It is testimony of the hard work that Karima does with young people outside of the football club to ensure that their needs are met and that they are in a happy and safe environment.
A special congratulations goes out to Karima for being the first recipient of this award.
