Grant Solder (Morpeth School)

GRANT is a former England junior, under 18 and under 21 champion and has played for his country at both junior and senior levels. He is also a former England national team coach for junior, cadet and under 12s.
Grant loves:
'Having fun and seeing young people practising hard and improving. It is great working with a variety of students – beginners, intermediates, advanced, primary and the disabled.
'I believe good coaching can give players improved confidence, improved skills and give them a real goal in life, something I believe is essential for all young people in inner cities. Having fun should always be the main reason to play. Also to understand that practice makes perfect and that if you practice hard and listen to your coach you can really achieve and reach your maximum potential.'
