Stefan Jeczalik wins U11 Vale of Glamorgan Championship
Monday 20 July 2009
Stefan Jeczalik, a pupil of Pontrhondda Primary school, won the U11 Vale of Glamorgan Championships last weekend.
The youngster from Partridge Road delivered a great display of table tennis craftsmanship which took him far away from the field that he played against. Stefan has been in great form recently, defeating top Welsh player Alex O’Connell in the Welsh Championships a few weeks ago.
His next tournaments are the Alan Sherwood Cup in London where he will compete for Greenhouse, the Rhondda Super League (where his team are top) and the Greenhouse Wales Championships which are to be staged at Pontypridd High School in May.
Stefan will also get the opportunity to travel to the Royal Albert Hall with 100 other players to view 6 of the best players in the world with the Dunlop Masters, which is organised by the Greenhouse charity.
